Bridge To Business's inaugural cohort included roughly 30 high school students from across the United States, aspiring to careers in various aspects of the business world. Meet a few of them below.
Caleb Doft is a junior at the Ramaz School. He is a passionate ice hockey player for the New Jersey Avalanche. In addition to his athletic pursuits, he serves as the co-President of his class in student government, an active member of Debate and the Ramaz Business Investment Club. Furthermore, he is a distinguished fellow at the UJA Federation's Philanthropic Advisory Council for Teens (PACT), and Youthbridge of New York reflecting his dedication to community service and philanthropy. Caleb is OSHA certified and spent his summer working for Egg Electric. Caleb is interested in Real Estate development, entrepreneurship and Finance.
Suria Dossani is a rising sophomore at Horace Mann School in Riverdale. She is really interested in business as a future career and is curious to explore different options in the field. In her free time she loves baking as well as reading, and her favorite book is The Count of Monte Cristo. She is interested in investment banking as well as private equity.
Ethan Makode is a rising senior and Academy of Finance student at River Hill High School in Clarksville, MD. He enjoys serving as a captain of his high school basketball team and playing elite AAU basketball with Team Beyond as a shooting guard. His passion for finance and entrepreneurship led him to lead program teams for the past two years in the Leadership Initiatives International Business Internship, where his teams have supported small businesses in Nigeria with financial and business advice as well as microgrant funding. He has also started an LI chapter at his school. In his spare time, he is an avid sneakerhead and photographer. He looks forward to pursuing a career in finance and marketing.
Isabella Miraflores is a high-performing junior at the Chapin School, known for her focus, curiosity, and clear communication. With a strong academic record—especially in STEM—she excels across disciplines and brings thoughtful problem-solving to everything she does. As Assistant Office Manager at the Shiu Clinic, she supports front-desk operations—including intake, scheduling, and billing—while maintaining a calm, professional presence. At school, she’s Co-Captain of the Speech Team, active in theater, and a member of the varsity tennis team. She also follows Formula One with enthusiasm and seeks communities that value initiative, creativity, and genuine learning. She is interested in: management consulting, finance (investment banking, private equity), and sports / talent management.
Ana Monteiro is a junior at Kent Place School in Summit, New Jersey. Beyond academics, she is active in Model UN, Mock Trial, the Future Business Leaders of America, and as a copy editor in the school newspaper. She also spends much of her time devoted to the arts, having studied dance and vocal performance since a young age, and brings her talents to bear in musical and play performance both in and out of school. She is particularly interested in business law and ethics, ethical uses of AI, and the biotech and pharma industries.
Jed Sloan is a rising senior at Stuyvesant High School, where he is co-Captain of the Chess Team, Varsity Tennis team and member of the Math Team, Math Modeling Club and Principal’s Advisory board. Outside of school he is Vice-President of NYC Chess Connections which tutors students in underserved communities in chess and related life skills. He also enjoys skiing and coaching for the Ski Race Development team at Mohawk Mountain. Two of his best experiences have been attending the Wharton Global Youth Finance and Data Science programs. He also recently authored and published research on the impact of Climate Change in Coastal Cities. Linked in profile here. Krishnav Tapuriah is a student at Dwight-Englewood School and dedicated leader across school and global initiatives. He serves as President of the Business Leaders Club, President of the Emerging Technologies Club, Executive Producer of TEDxDwight-Englewood, and Elected Member of the Disciplinary Council at school. Beyond campus, he co-founded the international branch of the Yasham Foundation, leading programs in English mentorship, career development, and financial literacy that have impacted over 2,500 people. As a Financial Literacy Specialist at Students for Innovation, he’s presented to 750+ educators nationwide. Fluent in English, Hindi, and Spanish, Krishnav bridges cultures to drive meaningful change.
Zoe Tziavragos is a senior at Avenues The World School. She is the marketing assistant to Nikki L. Brown Art Advisory firm, and was selected by Avenues’s faculty to be senior peer leader, representing Avenues at leadership workshops and planning high school community events and 9th grade orientation. She was also a student at New York University’s Career Edge Summer Program, where she integrated marketing, served underserved elementary students in Miami at Achieve Miami Saturdays and Achieve Miami Summer. She desires a career in business in the field of biotechnology. She is very interested in and is eager to work on projects with other members of the cohort in the following fields: biotechnology and finance, corporate finance, public policy, investing and private equity.
Miles Agle is a rising senior at McNair Academic Highschool. Currently he is an intern at the Jersey City Municipal courthouse. As an avid soccer fan as well as player, he captains his high school's varsity soccer team and referees at the grassroots level. He also is a UN NGO representative for Accessibility Atlas where he has authored several reports on implementation of UN mandates in regards to persons with disabilities. Currently the three areas of business which interest him the most are: Consulting, Wealth Management, as well as Private Equity.
Alexander Michaels is a sophomore at Tenafly High School in New Jersey. Alex has had an interest in business since middle school - he has read many books about investments and has an investment portfolio. Alex has taken classes in marketing, finance, business law, and public speaking and participates in DECA. He has a passion for watches and started a custom watchmaking business. He runs cross country, ski races, and plays tennis for his high school teams. He also volunteers as a running guide for people with special needs and a tennis instructor for underprivileged youth. The three areas of business in which he is most interested are Private Equity, Marketing, and Hedge Funds.
Leelah Mouradov is a junior at Glastonbury High School. At her school she participates in many extracurriculars, most notably the finance club (where she is the secretary), the math team, and also the varsity swim team. She is also involved in choir and has been selected for many festivals across the Northeast.
