Current Students

Michela Zanini

Michela is a sophomore with a strong interest in fashion, neuroscience, and business. Outside of academics, she enjoys cooking dishes from around the world, running, and playing board games with friends. She is an active member of Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) and Model UN. Her areas of business interest include user experience (UX) design, entrepreneurship, marketing, fashion merchandising, and the stock market.

Isabella Doni

Isabella is an incoming 10th grader who enjoys taking on new challenges, whether it’s on the tennis court, in a robotics lab, or in the classroom. She travels across the U.S. competing in tennis tournaments and is a member of FTC Team 8721, Mighty Mechanics, a world-class FIRST Tech Challenge robotics team. Through her outreach, Isabella enjoys sharing her passion for robotics and tennis with students around the world, especially those who may not always have access to these opportunities. Outside of competitions, she loves reading, solving math problems, and exploring new ideas.

Gabriella Alexander

Gabriella Alexander is a junior at George Washington Carver High School of Engineering and Science in Philadelphia. She is an integral member of the school community as a member of the NHS and manager of both junior and varsity teams. Gabriella enjoys combining creativity and leadership during school and extra curricular activities. She is also passionate about filmmaking and recently earned an award for her film “Blood, Sweat, and Soul”. Gabriella is also an intern at DPR Construction, where she is gaining hands-on professional experience. She is interested in accounting, estimating, project accounting, and data analysis. Gabriella hopes to connect her love for business with her interest in construction.

Eshal Masood

Eshal Masood is a rising senior at John Bowne High School with a strong interest in business, finance, and leadership. She has developed leadership experience through internships, volunteering, and youth focused programs, where she has taken initiative and worked collaboratively on different projects. Eshal is particularly interested in finance and investing and hopes to build a career where she can combine strong business skills, leadership, and strategic thinking.

Nolan Friedman

Nolan is a junior at Grace Church School in New York City. He is interested in business, math, and technology. Outside of the classroom, he competes for his school's Varsity Cross Country and Squash teams. He is a member of his school's Investment Club, which manages six figures of assets and for which he pitches and evaluates stocks, mainly focusing on the Industrials sector. He hopes to continue learning about investments while acquiring new knowledge involving other fields in the business world.

Sally Dwek

Sally Dwek is a junior at The Masters School in New York. She is a member of her school's varsity swim team and is actively involved in student government as class president, tutoring, entrepreneurship, and community service. She enjoys mentoring others and believes education is one of the most meaningful ways to create a lasting impact. Through her leadership experiences, Sally has developed a passion for collaboration, problem-solving, and creating opportunities for others. She is interested in entrepreneurship, finance, marketing, and product development and looks forward to exploring these fields.

Dajana Qoshlli

Dajana Qoshlli is a student at Central High School in Philadelphia with a passion for business, politics, and leadership. As a first generation Albanian-American, she values her cultural heritage and the lessons it has taught her about perseverance and community. Through programs like DECA, Student Association, and entrepreneurship experiences, Dajana continues to develop her skills in innovation, teamwork, and problem-solving while working toward becoming a future leader in the business world.

Tenzin Namkhang

Tenzin is a rising high school senior at The Young Women’s Leadership School of Astoria. She is very invested in her community and continuing to foster her passion and love for economics. This summer (2026) she has spent 120 Hours as a financial intern for a Non-Profit Organization; Nazareth Housing (through the pinkerton foundation). Nazareth works to advance families economically and assists in housing and food. 

Molly Agle

Molly is a junior at McNair High School who participates in her school’s Girls Varsity Tennis team, Mock Trial Team, and Girls for Business Club. In her free time, she enjoys learning instruments such as guitar, bass, and piano. She is excited to join the Wharton cohort to learn more about business, explore her interests, and connect with others who share similar passions.

Tyler Funk

Tyler is a rising junior at The Lawrenceville School in Lawrenceville, NJ, where he plays varsity basketball, football, and track, as well as AAU basketball. In 2023, Tyler and a group of friends founded Play It Forward, a youth sports coaching business on the East End of Long Island that offers private and small-group training, donates sessions to families in need, and supports a local organization serving underserved families. Through athletics and entrepreneurship, Tyler has developed a strong interest in leadership, business, finance, and investing, and he is excited to explore these interests through Bridge to Business.

Brett Feiner

Brett is a 16-year-old rising junior from Newton, Massachusetts. He enjoys participating in his school's DECA program and competing as well. He enjoys playing golf and basketball for his high school over the year. Over his summers, he goes to overnight camp where this year he was a counselor, having the benefit of partaking in many leadership roles. He loves hanging out with friends and watching sports with them. His favorite sports teams are the New York Jets, Boston Celtics, and Boston Red Sox. Some areas of business that he's interested in are: Private Equity, Investment Banking, Finance, and Sports Business. 

Malaika Toreki

Malaika Toreki is a rising 10th grader at the Dalton School where her preferred subject is history. She is a competitive track and tennis athlete training at the John McEnroe Tennis Program and is part of her school’s track and field team. Playing competitive sports has taught her diligence and risk taking which she believes are core components of business, a subject she aspires to pursue. She was introduced and encouraged to explore the Bridge to Business program through the John McEnroe Tennis Program and looks forward to developing entrepreneurship skills.

Matilda De La Rosa Vargas

Matilda is an organized and ambitious high school student with a strong interest in business, law, and public speaking. She enjoys developing leadership skills through community service, student organizations, and competitive business events. Passionate about learning and collaboration, Matilda is excited to connect with peers, explore the intersection of business and law, and continue growing as a future leader.

Perry Liu

Perry is currently a sophomore at Columbia Prep in NYC. Some of the sports he enjoys playing are soccer, basketball, and track. Some of his hobbies are photography, guitar, and watching shows. He is excited to meet his Bridge to Business classmates and learn more about them. 

Cole Fader

Cole Fader is a student at Grace Church School in New York City with a strong interest in business, investing, entrepreneurship, and technology. He has experience exploring finance through work at Blackstone and has also worked on AI-related research and projects. Cole is especially interested in learning from other students and collaborating on projects that combine business, technology, and innovation.

Julian delorenzo

I am a rising senior at Eton College in London. My favorite sport is soccer and my favorite movie is Fight Club. I'm the co-founder of an AI SaaS that analyzes short-form video content and provides actionable feedback to creators, and previously built a product that generated 120M+ organic views. I run the Entrepreneurship Society at Eton. I'm interested in working on projects in content creation, SaaS, product development, and marketing.

Remy Friedberg

Remy is a 17-year-old junior at Golda Och Academy in West Orange, NJ. At school, Remy strives to be a leader, and is currently doing so as Editor in Chief of the school paper, Vice President of Breast Cancer Awareness Club, and chair for Model Congress. This year is GOA’s first year with an FBLA chapter, so Remy is very excited to be a founding member. She is also involved in Model UN, peer tutoring, and volleyball. Outside of school, Remy coaches and competes in gymnastics, and loves to read in her free time. She is the oldest of 3 children, and lives in Westfield, NJ.

Remy is looking forward to building a connection with UPenn and other teens, and exploring new fields of business.

Aidan Mitchell

Aidan lives in Franklin Lakes, New Jersey, and is a rising sophomore at Ramapo High School. He enjoys playing soccer and tennis for his school, is a member of the school band, and likes swimming and spending time with friends and family. Committed to serving others, Aidan joined the Interact Club, where he has volunteered at community service events supporting disabled and underprivileged individuals. He also participates in DECA, reflecting his strong interest in business. Aidan is especially interested in pursuing a career in finance.

Danielle Elkowitz

Danielle is a junior at Blind Brook High School in Rye Brook, New York. She is a successful entrepreneur who has started her own non-profit clothing company benefitting those facing clothing insecurity. She is also involved in her school’s Student Congress, Model UN team, and Mock Trial team. Danielle loves art, being creative, and playing tennis. Some fields of business that she is interested in include: finance, marketing, and entrepreneurship.

Deb Jiwanmall

Deborah is a rising junior at Central High School in Philadelphia with college level coursework in business and accounting. As the co-founder and president of the Foreign Empowerment Association at her school, she leads fundraising initiatives for global aid. Deborah also serves as a representative for her school’s Student Association to advocate for students’ needs. Outside of school, she manages activities at a local fitness center. She is specifically passionate about international business, marketing, and finance, and looks forward to learning more about these fields through this cohort.

Jasmin Akther

Jasmin is an incoming junior attending Carver E&S. She has always been interested in business from a young age as she was interested in numbers and math. She was exhilarated when she received an email about this program from Heights. She enjoys meeting new people and learning new concepts. Some of her hobbies are crocheting, drawing, coloring, journaling and she just recently learned to make press on nails. She looks forward to enjoying her time at this program! 

Audrey Chan

Audrey is a rising sophomore in high school who is interested in exploring the business world and learning about different career opportunities within it. Outside of school, she enjoys dance and spending time developing her skills and exploring new interests. She is excited to be part of the Bridge to Business program, where she hopes to learn from business professionals, collaborate with other students, and gain a better understanding of the many different areas of business.

Ryan Doni

Ryan Doni is an incoming freshman at The Bronx High School of Science. He is nationally top-ranked in Public Forum debate and also competes at a high level in tennis, so he's used to thinking on his feet and staying disciplined under pressure. He is also on Mighty Mechanics, a world-class FTC robotics team, where he's picked up a lot about teamwork and problem-solving. Ryan naturally gravitates toward leadership roles in group settings and likes taking initiative to keep a team organized and moving toward its goal. He's interested in entrepreneurship, investing, and marketing, and is looking forward to working with the rest of the cohort this fall. 

Benjamin Elkowitz

Ben Elkowitz is an upcoming sophomore at Byram Hills High School in Armonk, NY. He likes playing sports such as Basketball and Tennis. In his free time, he enjoys playing video games. Some games he enjoys are 2K, Rainbow Six Siege, and FC 26.  He loves hanging out with his dog, Ollie, who is an Australian Labradoodle, and with friends/family. He also started his own business of walking dogs in the neighborhood. He is open to
learning about many different fields so he can pick one he truly enjoys.

Nicholas Ramnarine

Nicholas is a current senior attending G W Carver HSES in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. To this day, he lives by the quote "don't knock it till you try it", which led him to love the world of business! Nicholas did not grow up loving the idea of business, he always thought it was just a desk job, but one day he was placed in a finance class and ended up loving it. Nick loves a lot of other things too; cooking, singing (his go to karaoke song is Last Friday Night by Katy Perry), traveling, arcade games, and any activity with friends. Aside from his personal life, Nick is also very involved in his academics. In the 26-27 school year, he will serve as Lead Student Ambassador, President of his National Honor Society, Asian Student Alliance, Youth Inspiration Program, and most excitedly, a member of this marvelous program! 

David Cameron

David Cameron is a rising senior at Brooklyn Technical High School in NYC.  He enjoys Muay Thai, playing the piano, and weightlifting.  He is a big fan of New York sports teams.  In 2025, he began Young Investors Workshop, a free educational program bringing financial literacy and investing classes to kids ages 12-15.  He has enjoyed the entrepreneurial angle to this, combined with his personal interest in finance, economics and investing.  He would love to collaborate on projects in any of these areas.

Rylan Shetty

Rylan is a 15 year old student at Scarsdale high school who enjoys balancing academics, athletics, and music. He plays football and is also a competitive pianist. Outside of school, he enjoys spending time with friends, staying active, and exploring new interests. He is interested in learning from others and hearing different perspectives, and he looks forward to meeting the cohort and building new connections throughout the program.
